Limousine-Check: ASD Car Service - Shanghai
It's been a while since we reviewed the last limousine service provider in a city worldwide, however being one of the leading weblogs based on luxury travel those are definitively playing a key role during a luxurious trip. We landed safely with a brand new Airbus A350 seated in a comfy premium cabin and being impressed by Vietnam Airlines, headed quickly through immigration since we applied for a transit visa which China grants for free for at least 3 days (I think the visa-free duration is now even longer) and then grabbed our luggage to meet the driver outside at Pudong International Airport.
Normally I would say that from now on things went perfect, but as we were so relaxed already, the driver just made us very welcome in China and especially in Shanghai. He guided us to the parking spot and within a few minutes we were seated in the most luxurious Mercedes Vito we have ever seated. Two super comfy and elegant sleeper chairs were the highlight of this car by ASD car service. We took a seat in those stunning chairs... and wait. The driver didn't ask us to help pack the luggage in the trunk? Normally we always have to help arrange the huge suitcases in the limousine trunks - everyone having been to China travelling with huge suitcases knows what we are talking about. Actually we had enough space this time for our bags and so the driver could immediately begin the one-hour-drive to our hotel.
A bottle of water was provided inside the car for each guest and you can actually adjust the air conditioning on each seat. Soon afterwards Lukas and me decided to have a nap - I mean these sleeping chairs were just too inviting. Compliments to the driver who drove safely, though still didn't fall asleep on the highway. In perfect pace we reached The Ritz Carlton Pudong in not even 45 minutes where we were helped with our luggage by the porters and the driver waived us good bye. One day before the departure, we have received an email and iMessage to reconfirm the time for the ride back which was a great plus. Unlike us, the driver was perfectly on time and was already waiting outside the lobby. He drove us back in the same vehicle and we didn't even had to mention the Airline again once we reached the airport. The staff took note of our departure flight details and checked which terminal we needed to go. This exceeded our expectations as well due to the fact that most of the drivers don't know which airline you take until they reach the outskirts of the airport. Overall we can highly recommend ASD Cars in Shanghai and you should definitely not hesitate to book them on your next trip to China. They also have services in other chinese cities.
