Limousine-Check: Cicalini Limousine Rome
We booked the Cicalini Limousine Service in Rome only for a one way transfer from the city to the airport and a two hours city tour of Rome. Everything went well with the email conversation and all requests have been taken accordingly. Andrea, the owner and manager did take good care and chauffeured us back from the hotel to the Fiumicino Airport. The limos are either S- or E-Class Mercedes, as well as luxurious Mercedes buses. While we were brought to the airport in an E-Class Mercedes, we enjoyed the spaciousness of the luxurious Mercedes Vito bus for the sightseeing tour.
Our sightseeing tour started exactly at 11 am in front of the Lord Byron Hotel. We started with the Piazza del Popolo after we took the main road towards Piazza Venezia. From there we could gather the amazing Palazzo, which can be seen from everywhere in the city. We passed by the Roman Forum and the ancient Roman palaces, before we arrived at the Colosseo. By driving around it you get a feeling how big it really is. After this amazing landmark of Rome we saw the Circus Maximus and the ruins of the Emperor's Palace behind this vast place. Soon afterwards our driver drove into the old town and stopped. We got 30 minutes free time to go to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. There were lots of tourists around and after a while of walking by ourselves we were happy to came back to an air-conditioned car. This means we could enjoy all the beautiful buildings of ancient Rome in a comfortable environment. Our last stop was the Trevi Fountain, which is - like many sights in Rome - under construction and therefore less impressive then normally. A bottle of water would have made us feeling perfect during these hot summer days.
We really enjoyed our tour and the transfer back to the airport. It was a convenient and comfortable Limousine Company which is on time, reliable and luxurious. A perfect option for all luxury travelers going to the city of Roma!
