Our weekly dose of christmas escapes
It's been a crazy start in this December and already time again for another luxury escape to a local spa resort or a pre-christmas ski holiday. Don't you also dream of hot chocolate in front of a fire place with heavenly fur blankets? And isn't it time to unpack the ski and head to Austria or Switzerland? Why do I go there?
St. Moritz has a lot of style and I love to have a good Whiskey in the Lounge or an excellent red wine in the private atmosphere of my lake-view room.

Hôtel Mont-Blanc - Megeve, France
Be careful! This is one of the coziest ski hotels we have seen so far. Every room is designed in a different way and again we can see, a small ski hotel is sometimes slightly more comfortable then the large ones. Fire places in the lobby, fur blankets on the beds, traditional wood walls and floors as well as all fabrics throughout the property make the Hôtel Mont Blanc a really special place to stay. Simply perfect for skiing the slopes of Europe's highest mountain.
Why do I go there?
I love the french cuisine and I like even more if the hotel does focus on excellent food and not on lots of style and high-tech design. It's the most peaceful place for me.
Slightly more affordable then the famous competitor (Courchevel), Double Rooms are available at 340 euros per room and night excluding breakfast.
