A real hot-spot in the Marches! Cool and chic rooms facing the Adriatic sea. The indoor pool is a nice extra and the beach is truly magical. Enjoy a drink on the rooftop terrace, while the sun goes down on the horizon of the Adria. Rooms start from 135.00, suites from 200.00 EUR.

My last Insider's Hint is the Fortino Napoleonico Hotel, just 20 minutes by car from the city centre of Ancona, the capital of the Marches. The rooms are on the small side, but the private garden wth beach access is more than just excellent. As the most privileged hotel in the region, the rates are more than expensive: rooms from 200.00, suites from 350.00 EUR.
